Terrace Border Greetings Card
Process:
This greetings card is printed from a piece of textile art I created.
My original embroidery is applique based and uses scraps of different fabrics, carefully cut out and applied. Hand embroidery was then used to add detail and interest and to define the shapes. Gold thread, beads and sequins were used to embellish it and add a touch of sparkle.
The card is digitally foiled, bringing out these embellishments and metallic threads.
Specifications:
It is blank inside and therefore suitable for a range of occasions, and recipients.
The card measures 15cm (6in) square and comes with a recycled brown Kraft envelope.
