Cornish Coast Embroidery Kit

This embroidery kit includes a printed background with all the instructions you need to add the stitching and embellishments to bring it to life and create your own piece of coastal textile art. 

Illustrated, step by step instructions guide you through how to use stranded cottons and silks to build up the design using a variety of interesting stitches including back stitch, fly stitch, chain stitch and French knots. You will also be guided through the process of adding a subtle sparkle to your work by using seed beads to anchor down delicate sequins and incorporating fine gold thread into your stitches. 

The design is pre-printed onto the fabric so there is no need for tracing, and everything you need is included leaving you all set to get stitching! 

The accompanying Instruction Booklet includes full written directions as well as clear labelled diagrams showing where the different stitches are used. There is also an illustrated Stitch Glossary and advice on how to stretch your work ready for framing.
